Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Managing all aspects of marketing for the national buildings practice and activities within the buildings practice marketing department. Developing the marketing strategy for the national buildings practice in line with company objectives. Coordinating marketing campaigns with business development initiatives working in tandem with a business development leader. Oversight of the marketing budget for the buildings practice. Work with and coordinate with buildings Executive Leadership team to develop marketing and business development strategies for general and specific market sector practices. Maintains awareness and understanding of industry trends and project opportunities in the U.S. buildings market. Supervises the proposal preparation and production effort and assistance as needed. Responsible for collating information on a national level to assist with overall market research and data research Key interface between Business Development leaders and internal marketing teams. Develop a deep knowledge of the national regional market place and our position; help education marketing and other invested stakeholders Provides review and quality control of proposals, presentations, award submissions, etc. Creates new content as required for specific proposals, qualifications, brochures, presentations, etc. as needed Works with presentation teams to strategize and rehearse for presentations. Works with senior technical staff to identify and track leads and target markets, and prepare marketing plans and business development reports. Coordinates the National region comms needed eg. Local photography, public relations, speaking opportunity and awards submission efforts (in coordination with WSP USA Marketing and Communications staff) as needed. Interfaces with marketing departments in other practices across the business. Job Requirements Required Skills: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar field 15 years of marketing experience, preferably in the Architecture/Engineering/Consulting industry Leadership: ability to manage a team, establish a vision and motivate Strategic: ability to position the firm for a specific project or target market, visionary Industry: strong understanding of the business of the A/E/C industry Client/customer service: understanding of marketing as a service to the business Communications: ability to speak and write clearly, ability to work all levels of seniority of colleagues Organizational: ability to organize a document, a production process, a team Teamwork: willingness to work as a member of the team, roll up your sleeves and pitch in to help get the work done Software: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Oracle or similar database for CRM (intermediate to expert user proficiency) This role will report to the President of US Buildings and can sit in any WSP USA Buildings practice office.
