Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: This position provides overall administrative direction for one large or several smaller projects and assuming responsibility for the overall project performance including costs, schedule, quality and project status.This position involves subcontract negotiations, liaison with owners, engineers and subtrades and management of the technical and financial aspects of the contract. Maintain excellent relationships with owner, architect, consultants, subcontractors and public Liaise with authorities and regulatory agencies Establish project reporting procedures Develop and monitor the project schedule and budget Establish construction plans and engineering methods Negotiate issues of subcontracts and major purchase orders Understand and enforce contractual responsibilities, contract documents and provide dispute resolution Handle all change orders, including negotiating, processing and assessing cost and schedule impacts Prepare/verify and monitor progress billings to owner and from subcontractors Review productivity planning Provide performance status reports regarding cost forecasts, schedule and safety Supervise, mentor, coach and train project employees Ensure project profitability Engage in all facets of project close-out PCL will not sponsor an employment visa for this position Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent degree 5-7 years of proven experience in project management from project pursuit to project close-out, overseeing commercial construction projects Aviation, Higher Education, Sports and Entertainment project experience preferred Leadership, problem solving, organizational ability, customer service and communication skills are required Must provide documentation for eligibility to work in the United States Must be able to travel to project locations across the US Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test.
