Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Functions: The incumbent under the general direction of the unit supervisor, serves as lead analyst for Identity and Access Management (IAM) system development, project implementation and ongoing operation. Incumbent will: determine project requirements and prepare project plans; monitor project team tasks and activities; prioritize projects and tasks to ensure projects remain on schedule; perform variety of technical tasks: solutions design, architecture, requirements gathering, product installation, configuration, tuning, development, testing, debugging, operations, analysis, and documentation; analyze directory requirements; work with the Information Technology Services (ITS) division architect, the manager of database technology, and the Security and Compliance unit to develop access and authentication models; and identify and resolve modeling and integration issues; develop, populate, document and maintain the University Enterprise Directory, directory connectors and account provisioning systems; establish data access security profiles; develop backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures for IAM applications; and maintain audit trails of security maintenance activity. Required Qualifications Experience: Bachelor degree from an accredited four year college or university in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or other computer or systems related field. Four years of full-time progressively responsible system development/engineering experience performing design analysis, development, implementation and maintenance of middleware systems, which includes at least two years of direct experience with the design and deployment of one or more Identity Management technologies and related protocols, with either Microsoft deployment, or other enterprise level IDM system. An additional four years of full time related experience may substitute for the required education. Must be knowledgeable in identity systems and possess: technical knowledge such as: HTML; XML; and Visual Basic; working knowledge of systems development life cycle; expertise in applying structured systems and development techniques; demonstrable skills in problem resolution, data gathering, requirements definition, and analysis and design; strong communication skills, (oral, written, and listening); and excellent interpersonal /consulting skills. Demonstrated interest and ability in working in multicultural/multiethnic environment. background check (including criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position. Special Desired Qualifications: Master degree. Experience: in higher education; with state and local government; Red Hat Linux; other programming languages; Cryptography (SSL, Certificates); TCP/IP networking; MS Project; Microsoft server platforms; MS Visio and process map development; Microsoft PowerShell scripting; and Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager. UNIX skills and ability to write/modify UNIX scripts.
