Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The ideal candidate should be proven operations manager and innovator with deep expertise in operational strategy and administration, project management, leadership, and staff development. The candidate must have excellent communications skills and ability to build strong rapport with faculty, directors and department managers, both within and outside of UCSF. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related area (Finance, Business Administration, etc.) and 10 years relevant experience, and or equivalent experience training Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques; human resources and risk management planning; accounting and payroll Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques, and or human resources policies and procedures for staff and academic employees Knowledge of how healthcare technology companies operate Strong analytic background focused on delivering business impact Advanced skills in strategy development, systems planning and change management Excellent project management skills, including the capability of managing capital projects Excellent ability to establish metrics for department and employee goals Excellent skills to work collaboratively and act persuasively in sensitive situations; skills in conflict management techniques Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively lead, motivate and influence others and to develop and maintain high standards of customer service Thorough knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs Very strong ability to quickly evaluate complex issues and identify multiple options for resolution Ability to effectively and efficiently work with technologists, data analytics and health scientists in ways that promote productive collaboration and break-through thinking Note: Physical/health screening, fingerprinting and background check required.
