Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Vice President, Business Development & Operations identifies and analyzes business opportunities, negotiates contracts and follows deals through to completion. Additionally, he/she manages our ad operations and monetization strategy, working with the SVP of Cross Platform Solutions and VP of Content Operations to develop the ad mix to accomplish revenue goals across various FSMG properties. He/she will also work directly with sales and Broadcasting Company Ad Operations to implement these strategies. He/she also serves as our direct operational integration for our off-site businesses and indirect relationships. In their business development function, this person is responsible for coordinating deal flow through legal and finance and ongoing partnership management and operational support. Additionally the position is responsible for helping set overall business strategy, and developing presentations for senior management. Responsibilities Analyze & prospect new opportunities to achieve overall goals of business (revenue, audience, efficiency)Partnership management and internal communication with legal, product and marketing groupsDevelop strategies for ad delivery, policy and monetization to achieve various and diverse business goals across Sports Digital propertiesAssist in developing and streamlining business processes across multiple disciplinesIndirect management of indirect businesses, facilitating ongoing integration of products and business opportunities with broader Sports Digital products and opportunities MBA or JD preferred. Multiple years of media/interactive experience with advertising and subscription businesses. Familiarity with internet technology platforms7-10 years with some management experienceNeeds to have manage budgets and understand statistics and site analytics. Stays current with developing trends in production and audience tastesProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Division Description Sports is the umbrella entity representing.
