Seeks full-time associate attorney with at least 2 years of experience in family-based immigration law to assist applicants seeking permanent residency based on family relationships, as well as naturalization matters. This position is also responsible for advising staff on processing of employment-based adjustment of status and consular immigrant visa applications. This position has great potential for growth. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn other areas of business immigration, and grow within the firm. Spanish language a plus, but not required. Duties and Responsibilities: Consulting and communicating with potential new clients Intake and strategy for potential new clients Attend networking and other business development events on behalf of the firm Oversee paralegal staff to ensure filing deadlines are met and electronic files are properly maintained Review applications prepared by paralegals Prepare clients for consular interviews by phone/skype and prepare clients for and provide representation at USCIS interviews, as required Research immigration law, statutory and case law as required Monitor changes in immigration laws as they affect clients Compensation is competitive, based on performance.
