Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Description: The AVP of Marketing for Facilities Business Unit is responsible for Marketing strategy, development, execution and measurement of a broad range of marketing programs to foster new business growth, client retention, brand awareness and improved profitability. This includes market assessment / strategy, business development support, development of messaging frameworks, proposal and presentation templates, sales brochures and collateral, sales & operations playbooks, toolkits and training materials, trade show engagements, and content marketing programs. The position also oversees the creation and execution of a comprehensive Communications Strategy for employees, clients, and operators to help support program implementation and compliance. The position will work closely with Facilities Channel team to help create and implement programs and services to improve operations and create differentiation against competitors. The position will monitor market activity and identify opportunities to improve the innovation funnel based on market insights, and emerging needs. The AVP of Marketing role will oversee a team of marketing and communications specialist, and will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing for the Healthcare, Higher Education & Facilities Segment. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy/Value Proposition Refinement Working closely with all levels of management, develop and update the Facilities Value Proposition. Ensure that it is consistently represented throughout all materials and programs. Validate the value proposition on an ongoing basis to ensure differentiation and relevancy in the marketplace. Oversee the development of the annual Facilities Marketing Plan for all B2C, B2B and B2E (Business to Employee) initiatives including: market environment and trend analysis, program analysis/evaluation, competitive assessment, growth opportunity evaluation, key issues, marketing strategies, tactics and timing. Qualifications: CANDIDATE PROFILE Experience and Personal Attributes The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and skills: 10-15 years progressively responsible marketing and brand management experience (including B2B marketing), with demonstrated success and effective performance. Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team based environment within a heavily matrixed organization. A strategic and creative problem solver, able to distill large amounts of information into actionable strategies, solid program execution skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. External agency management experience. A go to person with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with a CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com. Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Prior team management experience Following experience and skills are highly recommended but not required: Experience in Facilities Management services and/or similar service industry Marketing Experience in multiple market verticals Experience with content automation tools, such as Eloqua or Hubspot. Experience in digital marketing including social media accounts like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google , etc, including experience using social media analytics.
