Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Primary Responsibilities: Provide support for actuaries and business partners for their data analytics needs Work with Actuaries, Claims, and product managers to generate insights and identify underlying trends Participate in actuarial data and process automation initiatives Work closely with business and claims to understand input systems such as pricing tools, policy administration systems, and claims systems to assess data quality and to be able to generate additional insights Position Requirements: Position Requirements Leadership Skills: Strong execution and results oriented Strong communication (oral and written) and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to work across interdisciplinary teams that are geographically dispersed Gather data and information from key stakeholders to inform the development of projects. Ability to identify issues and work to resolve them in partnership with business leaders. Develop and obtains consensus on project plans (tasks, schedules, resource assignments) with leadership. Technical Skill & Expertise: BS/BA Degree (MS preferred) preferably in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10 years of experience managing complex analytics projects 10 years of experience with data analysis and preparation, including experience with very large data sets. 5 years of experience leading information design and visual storytelling to craft the visualization of data and insights utilizing data visualization software/tools. High level SQL skills. Hands-on experience reading and writing code with one or more high-level languages (SAS, Python, and R) and SQLServer, SSAS, SSIS, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Tableau. Experience in advanced analytics and predictive modeling techniques Experience in the design, development, and administration of Data Warehouse, ETL, Internet Data Collection/Mining Data model design expertise. System Architecture Design, Automation Framework Design, Business Process Reengineering, Process Visualization, UE/UI Design, A.I. algorithm Insurance industry experience preferred Strong process and systems skills and attention to detail.
