Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position is responsible for ensuring that CPAC programming is in line with the mission and vision of the College of the Arts, as well as the University at large. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated success of working in a diverse and inclusive academic environment. Familiarity with fundraising techniques and grant writing. Experience developing arts education and community outreach programming. Demonstrated knowledge of working with the programming of diverse arts and cultural events, concerts, and performances. Demonstrated experience in negotiating performing arts contracts and working with associated legal and budgetary requirements. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to strategically assess needs and creatively solve problems. Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a vision of excellence. Education and Experience: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of seven years of related experience required. Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in the arts preferred. Extensive arts administration experience with performing arts center programming, management, and operations background. At least three years in managerial/supervisory positions in a university academic setting.
