Job Responsibilities and Requirements: You'll be confident, outgoing and beaming with personality in order to start cultivating a digital culture that encourages our people across Latin America to engage, collaborate and share using the platform. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Help develop the on-going strategy and shape for the Intranet Manage the technical relationship with the intranet vendor and implementation partner Perform user requirements gathering and translate into functional, technical, and project requirements Lead the implementation of pilots and full system roll-outs of the intranet in each operation, including content migrations, communication plans, and engagement and success measurement strategies. Develop and oversee governance and community management best practice guidelines, permissions and approvals processes Ensure ongoing support, training and guides for content authors and Intranet users Assist with training of staff on the use of the Intranet s CMS / publishing systems Develop global content and maintain global intranet editorial calendar Measure and report on the usage of the intranet through the analytics package incorporated within the system Ensure the DIRECTV Latin America culture is conveyed at every employee experience on the intranet Liaise with vendor and internal software development teams as necessary to build intranet functionality Maintain up-to-date awareness of relevant market trends and technologies relating to collaboration tools and online content deliver The intranet manager, will have the following key attributes: Excellent communication skills - written, spoken, and listening - with ability to explain and interpret complex issues clearly Ability to understand the way employees work and shape solutions which fit with their needs. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word with a high level of aesthetic and organization Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, matrixed environment Proven skills in project management and ability to prioritize competing interests while driving towards overall success Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment to ensure work gets done efficiently Bachelor s degree or equivalent. 2-5 years of experience implementing and/or managing enterprise intranet and collaboration systems and tools Familiarity with content management systems, a plus Proficient photo editing skills in Adobe Photoshop preferred Proficient HTML skills preferred Previous experience with web content and related Apps preferred Bilingual English/Spanish or Portuguese preferred Working Environment Standard office working environment.
