Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The successful candidate will set up, configure, and support internal and external networks; Develop and maintains all system, applications, security, and network configurations and troubleshoot network performance issues. Candidate may perform one or more of the following types of tasks: 1) Installs, integrates, and maintains various network system servers and workstations such as, but not limited to, Windows 2012, Windows 10, UNIX, etc. 2) Provides comprehensive solutions for managing workstations, file servers, etc. 3) Provides networking assistance to users, including help with network connections and passwords. 4) Installs, configures, and evaluates hardware/software. 5) Assists with linking servers to database systems. 6) Assists with all upgrades, security patching, and backups. Required Skills, Certification, Experience, and Education: 1. Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience, in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field, and at least five (5) years of experience (with three (3) years of related technical specialized experience). Required Clearance: DoD Secret Desired: MCSE or MCSA Certification preferred; Experience administering an MS/Unix network environment a plus, with specific experience with Windows 2012,2016 server and MS Exchange.
