Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This role will be responsible for: Coordinating projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants and firm staff. Performing engineering calculations and design using specialized technical skills, experience and engineering judgment to transform concept designs into construction drawings and technical specifications for public and private projects. Assisting in the preparation and quality control of plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications for projects. Providing project specific technical information to the Project Manager for incorporation into the project specifications. Performing plan drafting using CADD software. May direct the work of drafters and technicians. Visiting project sites to review conditions as appropriate. Maintaining and complying with state, federal and local rules and codes. Maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external clients. Serving as a representative of the Company at meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews relative to assigned projects. This opportunity requires: Education B.S. in Civil Engineering and/or related field. Focus in Construction Management preferred.
