Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Position Overview: The Treasury Service department is seeking a Financial Analyst skilled in financial analysis, business analysis, reporting, budgeting, and process improvements. As part of our analyst team you will support the technology projects and programs with timely, accurate, and reasonable financial information, projections, and data analysis. You will partner with Bank departments, Fiscal Service, and other Federal Reserve Bank staff to develop and communicate financial plans, program analysis, and operational process improvements to respond to program management needs and help ensure reporting is compliant with Federal Reserve System requirements. Highlighted Responsibilities: Prepare project budgets, forecasts, activity distributions, and research support costs. Develop reports. Maintain project reporting and tracking of costs against budget, forecast, and metrics. Verify financial information for accuracy and compliance. Research, analyze, and compile business data from multiple sources. Perform routine to complex data analysis to produce business information used to support decision-making. Conduct research and perform variance analysis with other departments, Federal Reserve Banks, and Fiscal Service to provide management information with definitive decision-making data and advice. Prepare financial performance, scenario, and ad hoc analysis. Prepare communications, including proposals, reports, dashboards, and presentations for all levels of management. May lead and/or coordinate complex projects related to technology improvements, forecast process, project expense analysis, and/or other special projects. Review and analyze business operations. Conduct feasibility analyses. Develop and revise procedures, define processes, and deliver training to users. Maintain procedures and control manuals for users. Monitor and verify compliance with applicable new and existing policies, procedures, and standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 4 years of financial analysis, or related experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills along with attention to detail. Experience with advanced features of Excel and basic features of PowerPoint and Word. Ability to work both independently and as a team member with minimal supervision, as well as working effectively as a part of a team. Good interpersonal skills with strong collaboration and consensus building skills.
