Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties: Identify and recommend construction partners (General Contractors and Trades) Identify and recommend Commissioning Partners Manage all aspects of the construction project to ensure success Establish and implement methodology for on-site project quality control Participate in all project meetings and ensure that action items are addressed appropriately and expeditiously Ensure contract compliance, includes but is not limited to construction contract, contract exhibits, terms and conditions, construction documents, and specifications Provide oversight for all changes, billings, work in place, and payments. Validate project safety plans an measures Lead the creation and implementation of Methods of Procedure for critical work Develop RFP s Coordinate all aspects of the bid process Responsible for managing commissioning process Secondary Responsibilities: Assist design team with gathering internal requirements described by Sales, Operations and Executive Management Assist PM team with establishment of Scope, Schedule and Budget for the design process Participate in due diligence efforts Perform other duties as required and assigned. Qualifications Five years or more of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity. Prefer familiarity with Data Centers and/or Telecom technical facilities Demonstrated ability to deliver high profile & complex projects on time and on budget. Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency. Travel required and dependent upon workload and critical project activities. Average expected travel required ~ 50%-60%. Must be familiar with project management techniques and have strong understanding of project management tools and approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects Fluent in creating and managing project plans, as well as providing and meeting time estimates for assigned tasks Highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects Must have excellent leadership, team management and relationship building skills Strong project budgeting and cost tracking acumen Excellent oral and written communication skills. Self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal supervision Certified Construction Project Manager preferred Familiar with commercial, technical construction projects AutoCAD experience a plus MS Office Suite (extensive Excel skills a plus) MS Project experience.
