Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Manage a team of Engineers and Technicians to set-up, complete, and report on tests in a laboratory environment. Manage calibration and maintenance on all laboratory equipment. Manage a team of Engineers and Technicians to perform field testing on all products to achieve validation plans. Coordinate locations of field testing and interaction with cooperators and dealers. Manage Prototype machinery, team responsible for all machine settings, documentation of failures, and changes to the machines. Keeps abreast of latest validation advancements to allow for development of innovative product validation methods Leads team in development of knowledge on validation processes and techniques. Work with validation planning team to help create design validation plans and document risks at program gates. Coordinates testing activities with respective global AGCO test groups to ensure product meets agreed engineering expectations. Potential to travel to suppliers, production plants, dealerships, customer job sites and field test locations related to the development of engineering projects and problems resolution. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent with 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in design and validation OR BS in Engineering with 7+ years of progressive engineering experience in design and validation 3+ years of supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred degree in Mechanical or Agricultural engineering ProE, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word Strong leadership ability and good communication skills Desire for progressive leadership responsibility Demonstrated leadership in new product development environment Ability to work with diverse people Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate positive attitude Good mechanical aptitude with ability to develop product concepts Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment Direct experience with agricultural equipment Knowledge of unique farming methods Experience within an engineering testing/validation organization.
