Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Summary: Responsible for the implementation, management and administration of security protocols for the corporate WAN, LAN, mobile, server and desktop architecture. Responsible for maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Duties and Responsibilities Implements corporate policies and procedures regarding systems security. Creates and maintains security related documentation. Participates in 24x7 security and network monitoring. Participates in securing the configuration of Windows, Linux server operating systems. Supports desktop security configuration and security patching. Supports, administers and configures McAfee antivirus. Supports, administers and configures McAfee IDS. Administers Cisco network and security devices such as Cisco ASA and similar devices. Supports, administers and configures web application load balancing devices such as F5 LTM. Supports, administers and configures mobile device management (MDM) system. Plans, tests and executes upgrades as necessary to the installed systems. Performs internal and external vulnerability audits. Participates in security audits, analysis, testing and reviews. Implements security and network projects as assigned. Responds to security incidents in a timely manner. Supports and ensures confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive data. Keeps current on industry security trends and developments. Provides support and assistance to other team members as needed. Assumes additional responsibilities as needed. Education, Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor s degree in related field or equivalent relevant technical or professional experience. VMware knowledge and certification a plus. Minimum five (5) years related work experience with a minimum of three (3) years experience in administrative support of firewalls, IDS and administration of Windows/Linux and related systems. Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and protocols. Familiarity and ability to use tools like Wireshark and tcpdump to analyze packet captures. Must have a good working knowledge of firewalls, security devices and IDS. Must have good working knowledge of Anti-Virus configuration and administration. Experience in systems and equipment implementation. Advanced trouble shooting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be willing to travel and work weekends as required.
