Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The VP, Facilities will be responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day management of Global and Domestic Corporate offices and providing executive leadership for the management of capital resources dedicated to the acquisition and construction of facilities that support the growth of the organization. In addition, he/she will be responsible for facilities maintenance operations throughout Corporate offices. This VP will have strong leadership of managers and frontline staff, technical capabilities and sound financial acumen are required. Safety, planning, engineering, scheduling pertaining to facilities and general corporate business acumen at a very high level are also required. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Store Development & Design, Real Estate and Facilities. You re excited about this opportunity because you will Oversee and coordinate maintenance/repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work Implement a comprehensive approach to developing and managing the physical environment at each of our facilities Lead, facilitate, and contribute to the work of deliverables related to overall facilities planning and design, space management, real estate transactions, and projects with third-party developers Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building rules and applicable ordinances Serve as a contributing member of the leadership team and lead facilities management initiatives that will support strategic goals and objectives. Develop and implement long-term plans and short-term goals in furtherance of the organization s vision, mission, and values Lead new projects, including acquisitions, planning, and building management; review design and functionality of new development projects with developers and construction managers Play a lead role in preparing and administering departmental and program budgets. Assume ownership of key planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for areas of responsibility; monitor financial performance through key indicators and succeed in achieving maximum results with budgeted resources Lead facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property with integration of processes within the organization to maintain and develop services that support and improve the effectiveness of our Corporate offices Be an expert with a variety of facility and construction processes, practices, and procedures.
