Job Responsibilities and Requirements: SUMMARY : The credit manager position is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales, DSO, and bad debt losses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Management and evaluation of all customer credit lines and A/R accounts, including cash application for all divisions and joint ventures. Overall responsibility for the A/R subledger. Responsible for maintenance of internal controls related to A/R. Responsible for Export Compliance program. Representative for at NACM credit meetings and RSAC conferences. Travel 10-20 nights per year. Supervises 1-2 employees. Requirements: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Ideal candidate has a BA or BS in Accounting/Finance/Business and/or equivalent credit management experience.
