Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Vice President of Operations is responsible of the safe, efficient, and culturally correct operation and growth of multiple facilities. Incumbent is expected to develop and implement initiatives to achieve higher Quality, On-time-Shipping, and Efficiency, and to be the Corporation's representative to implement our vision & objectives. They will lead the manufacturing sites and drive improvements to increasing levels of performance. This person must possess excellent communication skills, which are characterized by sincerity, persuasiveness and clarity of thought. Incumbent must have strong interpersonal skills reflecting leadership, sensitivity and the demonstrated desire and ability to foster teamwork and drive results. Develop and manage capital spending plans and annual operating expense budgets. Manage the resources of the organization to achieve immediate and long rang objectives Embrace the concepts of effective modem management and create/maintain an environment, which fosters employee engagement, empowerment and team building. Develop a flexible organization that can respond quickly to changing customer demands. Formulate and implement long and short-range plans, policies and programs. Work closely with R&D and Marketing in the development and design of new products and packaging that represent the company's core competence of innovation to the industries it serves. Build and maintain a strong commitment to quality and excellence as it relates to all functional areas. Introduce world-class manufacturing techniques. Attain annual expense budget goals and execute annual capital budget to achieve promised benefits. Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Experience managing multiple manufacturing sites.
