Data Governance Analyst

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Maintain consistency of data between systems and troubleshoot system reporting. Monitor and tie out daily, weekly, and monthly feeds between reporting systems. Document procedures and data relationships. Manage translation between various business systems. Research, identify, and analyze the requirements of end users. Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas. Work with consultants for efficient implementation of software upgrades or new system implementations and for resolution of issues. Provide guidance to Finance team members around data and reporting. Performs other job duties as required. Required Skills QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related field Experience Strong experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, PowerQuery Experience with system implementation or upgrades Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Experience working in a fast-paced high demand environment Experience working with financial reporting systems Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Information Systems or Accounting System Implementation Preferred Knowledge: Outstanding analytical skills (numerical, verbal) Highly proficient in financial reporting Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Strong problem solving-skills Project Management experience Strong understanding of databases, including SQL/Oracle, querying, data mining etc. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Skills/Abilities: Must be self-driven and motivated Strong work ethic, positive proactive flexible attitude, ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure A methodical approach to tasks with strong documentation skills Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new systems Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
