Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Lead Product Manager discovers and represents the Voice of the Customer in the development of new electric vehicle (EV) motorcycles from inception through launch and beyond. This role seeks to understand the EV motorcycle market via primary and secondary research, including first hand motorcycle riding experience, to ensure the products on our motorcycle life cycle plan are innovative, aligned with the brand legend and represent customer wants and needs. As we introduce new cutting-edge products into the global marketplace, a critical responsibility of this role is to act as the primary product development project interface, managing accurate and timely communications with key stakeholders including sales regions, marketing and the product development community to support both input to the product plan along with the development and successful launch of new products. Acting as the EV subject matter expert, this role develops volume and financial forecasts for projects, balancing investments against enterprise objectives. This expertise supports the planning and development of new EV product offerings and ongoing EV product improvements consistent with global customer strategies, customer requirements, business strategies, enterprise plans, global opportunities and quality, cost, and timing targets that meet/exceed agreed upon goals. A few key job responsibilities include: Capture and organize global insights, information and observations from various stakeholder groups to be incorporated into the life cycle plan. Actively listens and seeks diverse opinions and shares information honestly and transparently. Create Voice of the Customer statements based on the analysis of market research, customer and dealer insights and stakeholder inputs, which leads to the creation of EV product concepts. Maintain accurate and current communications with appropriate stakeholders including sales regions, marketing and the product development community. Analyzes and interprets data and recommends solutions based on data analysis. Seeks to improve the relevance of our products and the efficiency of our processes through continuous improvement. EDUCATION REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in a Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field is preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED We are looking for an experienced professional, who can step into the role to make an immediate impact on Harley-Davidson's future. All applicants who choose to apply should be prepared to demonstrate the following experience: At least 8 years of related experience (EV automotive or motorcycle experience a plus). Strong communication skills and the ability to translate this understanding into strategic direction and actionable products that results in value in the customer's eyes. The ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and influence others to approve and support the direction which supports the customer wants and needs. Proven skills in leadership, communication and collaboration in the execution of new initiatives and the ability to successfully challenge and motivate others. Motorcycle riding experience preferred.
