Job Responsibilities and Requirements: In this role, the position will be working within a team of high performing and skilled digital capability architects, program managers, and digital analysts with overall product ownership of digital acquisition performance measurement and attribution for Investment Optimization. This team manages proprietary Global Campaign Tracking (GCT) and attribution capabilities across US and International Markets for both Consumer and Commercial business units. The team sits within Enterprise Digital & Analytics (ED&A) COE, as part of Enterprise Investment Optimization, Acquisition & Portfolio Insights team.We are looking for a data-driven analyst with excellent analytical skills, MIS reporting expertise, and performance measurement and/or web analytics experience. Closely collaborate with our other digital marketing & analytics teams focused on PPC, SEO, display, social, affiliates, partners, site optimization, and investment optimization. Support product objectives with business cases, product success metrics, design & data architecture considerations, customer feedback, market research, marketing strategy and competitive analysis Use digital campaign data to develop and support acquisition funnel data collection and reporting on a daily, weekly or monthly basis Responsible for performance measurement and tracking across multiple platforms and data sets, segmentation by campaign, device type, digital channel, product, etc. Perform UAT validation of new features impacting attribution, database development, processing logic, and reporting Assist in validation of site tagging to support an internally developed performance measurement solution Leverage experience with data visualization tools to create dashboard reporting and data health monitoring Ensure accurate measurement of campaign performance, site traffic, acquisition metrics and channel attribution through continued development and maintenance of best in class data collection strategies across digital assets Partner closely with dedicated resources from American Express Technologies (AET) as business product owner for the Global Campaign Tracking capability Interact with internal or 3rd party customers with inquiries on our data, database, processing logic, or reporting. Lead data hygiene efforts to continually maintain high standards of data integrity Understand the latest concepts of connecting digital touchpoints and customer data to provide guidance for implementing solutions that enable audience and customer-centric digital analytics Employ a project management discipline, documenting work flows and processes, authoring requirements or user stories, approving capability use cases, etc. The ideal candidate should demonstrate creativity, curiosity and passion for building capabilities that will combine analytics with the right technology to create world-class digital acquisition solutions.Educational Requirement: Bachelor s degree required, BA/MS in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering or other quantitative field preferred Extensive experience with SQL, Hive, SAS, & advanced Excel featuresare desired Experience in multi-channel analytics, including digital and web analytics; Adobe Analytics is a plus Knowledge of web infrastructure and technologies with a focus on Javascript, cookies and evolving landscapes for cookieless based alternatives and cross-device tracking Proven ability in managing projects, including experience in gathering requirements for website measurement, tracking, and data exchanges between systems and databasesExcellent written and verbal communication skills Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Ability to work well under pressure, to effectively handle multiple and concurrent demands, changing priorities and schedules Experience working in an Agile Software Development Life Cycles development environment preferredExperience leveraging tools such as Jira, Rally, & Confluence a plus Depending on factors such as business unit requirements, the nature of the position, cost and applicable laws, American Express may provide visa sponsorship for certain positions.
