Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The National Programs Manager will be responsible for development and execution of a national strategic stakeholder engagement model, working closely with key partners from Corporate Responsibility and lines of business to strengthen the firm s position as a force for driving inclusive economic growth. This includes managing a grant portfolio with a deep focus on strengthening nonprofit capacity; representing the firm in the community; identifying and managing reputational risk; and cultivating forums to promote dialogue between the firm and key stakeholders. The National Program Manager will have deep relationships with key community influencers such as advocates, policy and civic organizations; a thorough understanding of the complex interdependencies of large financial services organizations and the communities they serve; and strong knowledge of tools to strengthen the infrastructure of the nonprofit sector. 8 - 10 years experience in community relations, grantmaking and/or community/economic development Ability to represent the firm at events and in meetings with community leaders, advocates, and other influential stakeholders Thought leader and subject matter expertise on issues that impact the Firm s reputation and business operations Ability to travel regularly to meet with key stakeholders, represent the Firm and attend events Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills Integrity and strong work ethic Proven ability to multi-task in an intense, fast-paced environment Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team and take the initiative to follow up as needed Desire to seek information and look for new approaches to processes and practices.
