Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Duties: Provide front line production support, proactive monitoring, capacity planning, administration, issue troubleshooting for critical applications in the Bank. Manage day to day issues including daily health checks of applications and processes. Work closely with clients, vendors and other technical staff to prioritize, identify and resolve issues that impact Middleware applications space. Resolve High Priority incidents with best practice troubleshooting and perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to provide long term solutions. Maintain stability of transactions that come to middleware layer from Chase.com website and other internal applications/ clients such as ATM, Customer Assist, Teller, Call Centers etc and troubleshoot middleware, server, load balancer, application, network, database issues in Production hosted across multiple OS platforms AIX, Linux using multiple middleware technologies such as Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat. Partner with application development teams to understand new projects, cross-pipeline requirements and set Production support expectations. Provide support using various tools such as Splunk, Wily, Eclipse, troubleshoot various Datapower and websphere message broker issues. Perform validation health checks, administrative and middleware technical support to application development teams during production deployments. Create and maintain documentation including detail analysis into the application end to end flow and infrastructure stack for various critical applications. Create team processes and coordination measures relating to the teams' efficiency. Mentor team members on technology, processes, and people leadership. Adhere to company's IT control policies, architecture standards, risk management, and security policies. Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Middleware Engineer, IT Consultant, Software Analyst/Engineer, Infrastructure/Solution Delivery Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in lieu of the Master's degree and three (3) years of experience.Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: WebSphere; Weblogic; Tomcat; IBM HTTP Server; Apache; IIS; Sunone; OS Platforms: AIX, Linux, Solaris and Windows platforms; Datapower; Websphere Message Broker; UNIX shell; Perl, Python, or similar scripting languages; Unit test runner; Eclipse/RAD; Tortoise SVN; IBM Clearcase; IBM Webview MQ; F5/Cisco Load balancer; SSL administration; CA Site Minder SSO; Network protocols such as TCP/IP; DNS; DHCP; SSH; SFTP; Java/J2EE concepts; ITSM Change Management processes; HP Service manager; scheduling job tools Control-M, Autosys, and Crontab; DB2; SQL; Oracle; and monitoring tools Tivoli, CA Wily Introscope, and Splunk.
