Job Responsibilities and Requirements: JOB DESCRIPTION: Create asset allocation studies utilizing data collected in the client profiling process; verify/test assumptions and constraints; confirm findings through iterative ratification process with the PM. Ensure knowledge of entire investment solution suite; recommend investment solutions to PM for client use based upon clients' needs and constraints. Monitor/facilitate account set up resulting in error free account set up process; ensure timely account set up and investment of funds. Re-balance portfolio due to liquidity needs, bond maturities, excess cash, buy/sell implementation, tax loss harvesting, and investment recommendation implementation - deployment of cash liquidation of positions. Handle trade order entry for portfolio transactions, and administration of custody account trades and performance. Reg. 9 meeting preparation, review exceptions and recommend strategy to resolve exceptions. Prepare meeting materials; generate research materials - proprietary, economic commentary and Bloomberg etc. as needed for client and prospect meetings. Respond to client requests when PMs are out of office. Team with Portfolio Management Assistant(s) to ensure consistent support for the PM Utilizes knowledge of financial planning and investment management concepts including broad knowledge of TIAA's products and services to assemble and review document account materials related to the client experience and or management of the portfolio. Proactively analyzes accounts to identify issues and takes action to correct or may direct others to do so. Executes trades in client accounts as needed in a manner that is consistent with organizational guidelines Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s degree or 4 years of related experience 2 years utilizing Microsoft Office suite Ability to travel Desired Qualifications: Understanding of investment fundamentals CFA, CFP or can be obtained utilizing our Professional Designation Program Experience working in a financial sales/service capacity for a book of high net worth clients. Computer skills that include working knowledge with Microsoft Office suite, CRM, and proprietary systems. Excellent financial, mathematical and statistical skills; can work with complex database and/or quantitative tools. Ability to apply and communicate knowledge of investment fundamentals, product knowledge, procedures of the organization as well as regulatory requirements in the course of managing both client accounts and relationships. Analyze information and consistently and generate workable solutions to problems Ability to work directly with clients and to work with clients and internal business partners of all magnitude in both written and verbal format Equal Employment Opportunity is not just the law, it s our commitment.
