Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Data Availability team is looking for an experienced front-end developer to build the next generation of Splunk products that provide users with meaningful insights into all aspects of modern day infrastructure and technology stacks. You will get to work with a super smart bunch of folks who are doing state of the art development work (both front-end and back-end) in areas of data acquisition, machine learning, data analytics and correlations across silos to build best-in-class IT operations analytics software. You will be interacting with product management and stakeholders to understand detailed requirements. You will help drive faster continuous delivery cycles for cloud customers and robust periodic deliveries for on premise based customers. You will also work with other engineering teams across Splunk to design and build high-performance solutions. Requirements: You have 2 years of relevant industry experienceYou have expert development skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSSYou have experience with React and other modern JavaScript frameworksYou have experience testing Javascript applications with Chai and ProtractorYou have experience collaborating with design and cross functional engineering teams to make the complex simple for the userYou have experience working on a distributed teamYou have full web stack development experience You are comfortable working with development on Linux, Unix, and Windows systems You have experience working on ultra-high performance software that processes massive amounts of data in real-timeYou have the ability to learn new technologies quickly and mentor junior team membersYou have strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenYou are familiar with agile software development processYou have a BS CS/EE or equivalentYou are not afraid to ask questions, say I don t know, but I'd like to find out , know how to ask for help, and actively help out colleagues on your team Additional Skills: Strong development skills in Java or Python is a plus Experience with Splunk is a plus Experience working with stakeholders in a requirements gathering, support, or beta program context is a plus Experience with Cloud technologies and Application monitoring tools is a plus Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure is a plus Experience developing and working with data visualization tools is a plus.
