Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The candidate will be responsible for the creation of customer facing content that positions the Autodesk team as an evangelist for the construction industry. He/she will be directly responsible for articulating the vision and value proposition of Autodesk solutions in construction to top General Contractors globally. This individual will direct, develop and manage content marketing plans and deliverables. They will be responsible for the development of content to aid the sales teams in communicating and influencing construction customers and prospects. The candidate will spend time with customers to understand individual persona needs which will translate into messaging and marketing materials. In this role, communicating externally to customers through visual and written content will be critical. Documenting the target personas and their needs along with how our portfolio addresses their challenges is a critical component as well as producing customer facing content that represents our vision, strategy and ability to meet customer s evolving needs. The candidate needs to be an effective communicator who thinks strategically, writes concisely, speaks easily to large and small groups and is a coalition builder. He/she must have the appropriate diplomatic skills to work across a matrixed-organization and be able to work collaboratively with cross functional teams across Autodesk. Autodesk is in a period of rapid change as we continue to transform our business models and focus on term and cloud-based offerings to existing customers and new prospects. The successful candidate will have significant input into the shape, direction and growth of the organization as we transition through this change. ResponsibilitiesContent CreationGathers construction persona details to inform creation of collateral Ability to tell stories visually Strong presentation skills Build Collaborative Relationships Internally Maintains close customer relationships to effectively represent the voice of the customer with respect to messaging and collateral Serves as main internal point of contact for sales in terms of content needs Works with PR as a representative of the marketing message and industry value proposition Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years experience in a marketing role preference towards construction Excellent written & verbal communication skills and proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience Passion for technology and knowledge of software, IT and technology trends Demonstrate effective communication skills and strong executive presentation skills Excellent interpersonal skills required in order to build strong relationships, particularly with sales, field and product organizations and partners, and an ability to be highly successful in a matrix management organization Travel: 15%.
