Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Provides the Board, CEO, and management with professional and strategic legal advice analyses on matters pertaining to all aspects of the business Serves as a key legal advisor on all major business transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures Structures and provides leadership to the company internal legal function and staff Prepares reviews and negotiates contracts Ensures the company conducts its business according to applicable federal and state laws and regulations Provides direction and has oversight for any governmental reviews and investigations Oversees the selection, retention, management and evaluation of all outside counsel Creates an environment where all job responsibilities are in alignment with the core values, mission, and purpose of the organization Fosters a workplace with the highest moral, ethical and legal standards to deliver an environment that promotes respect, innovation, and creativity Models a positive, inclusive workplace, one in which the talents and strengths of our increasingly diverse workforce are welcomed, further developed and manifested in our work Provides clear vision, strategies, support, and expectations to ensure employees are able to learn, grow and expand their skills, perspectives and experiences to help grow Jamf Qualifications 4 year Bachelor's Degree (Required) JD degree and licensed in Minnesota (Required) Required Certifications Licensures: (Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota) Minimum of 10 Years legal experience preferably starting in a law firm environment and then an in-house position as lead legal counsel (Required) Experience negotiating customer contracts in a Software SaaS environment, both on a large dollar scale and a high volume scale (Required) General Experience working on matters of corporate governance and with a board of directors (Required) General Experience in intellectual property law, including patent law, licensing of IP rights and IP due diligence (Required) Experience with international employment law, business contracts, and general legal dealings (Required) General Experience Exposure to data privacy regulations (Required).
