Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities Licensing Administration: Collaborate with Director of Auxiliary Services and the Deputy Athletics Director for External Operations on Trademark Licensing requests, including license approval and affiliations. Independent approval of artwork designs and license applications, while consulting internally for special requests or restricted markets. Cultivate a positive relationship with all licensees including local licensees. Manage the IMG College Licensing in the administration of the licensing process, maintain control by utilizing IMGCL online vendor, design review and approval system. Maintain affiliation with industry organizations and actively participate. Brand Development and Marketing Strategies: Responsible to maximize revenue opportunities with licensed products for retail, marketing, student engagement and special projects. Manage IMGCL in creating hot market opportunities resulting from major athletic success. Collaborate with IMGCL and continue to work with Athletics External Marketing Staff on new projects, products, promotions and marketing as it relates to the Athletic market. Develop and implement marketing strategies and make recommendations to external marketing staff. Trademark Maintenance and Licensing Agreements: Maintain licensee database and optimize the number of licensee to maximize revenue return to the University. Collaborate with Office of Athletic Compliance in determining protection of University interests in relation to NCAA and Athletic Compliance policies in relation to licensing. Worker s Rights/Corporate Responsibility: Maintain affiliation with the Workers Rights Consortium ( WRC ) and Fair Labor Association ( FLA ). Attend conferences and meetings in person and by teleconference for the WRC FLA University Advisory Committee and IMGCL . Communicate and interact with IMGCL Director of Corporate Responsibility or directly to Licensees on a regular basis concerning University Code of Conduct standards. Campus/Community Outreach: Disseminate information to campus community and alumni groups concerning Trademark Licensing policies. (Including administration of NY State Custom License Plate Program as well as others). Direct Academic and Administrative Staff on trademark licensing initiatives and policies.
