Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all structure maintenance for billboards Prioritize, assign and oversee all work orders for new builds, take downs, repairs and painting Check for site access issues and communicate with real estate department and landlords Maintain Chicago Branch MOP and oversee outside contractors for vegetation, maintenance and take downs Determine amounts and order all material for repairs and new builds Monitor and maintain department budget and run reports for corporate Responsible for ordering and maintaining safety gear and giving safety classes Oversee Chicago yard maintenance, disposal of product and cleaning Fill in for other positions in operations department as needed Supervise and assign work to meet completion dates in accordance with established schedules and review the work of assigned staff Other duties as assigned or requested Assists in the initiation, evaluation and implementing new technology, methods policies and procedures Maintains complete, updated and accurate inventory of materials Compile and produce reporting, as needed Conduct on-site evaluations of safety, quality, efficiency and other criteria essential to effective operations Maintain employee relations Participate in company training, safety meetings and other meetings and events as directed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Post-high school education (2 degree in Operations Management, Business or related field) or equivalent experience Experience: 2-3 years experience in the construction trade or related trades 1 year of supervisory experience Qualifications: Must possess valid in-state driver s license suitable for light commercial vehicles and other equipment with associated with job Ability to use and maintain hand tools and small device power tools Experience working with OSHA standards Proven safety management track record Able to work independently, exercising judgment and decision making Must have working knowledge of Windows operating system and be competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel and Outlook). Solid written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and prioritization Ability to guide others in achieving company goals and objectives Ability to work full time, up to and including six days a week, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to multi-task, fast-paced, dynamic environment Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction Must have strong organizational and time management skills. Must be detail oriented. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to manage individual workflow effectively and improve processes when necessary Ability to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions Must have ability to learn and use company and customer system(s) Must have the ability to compose emails and other written documentation clearly and concisely Ability to think things through and develop processes that contribute to enhance organizational efficiency.
