Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The network engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting the firms network infrastructure firm wide. This includes all LAN, WAN, WiFi, load balancing, WAN acceleration, and network security infrastructure. In addition, the network engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting issues when needed utilizing network management tools, packet analysis. Qualifications & Requirements The following experience and education does not need to be consecutive and is preferred. Any combination of experience, education, and certification that demonstrates that the candidate can be successful in the position will be considered. Minimum 5-10 years of experience working in a similar role on a medium to large scale complex network. BS degree, MS degree in computer science or related field. CCNP or higher certification Technologies: Cisco routing, switching, and wireless EIGRP, BGP, BFD, HSRP, VSS, RSTP Cisco IOS, NxOS, RiOS, GETVPN Juniper Networks VPN/FW NetApp storage integration Solarwinds/Orion alerting, monitoring, and reporting Riverbed NetShark, steel central NetProfiler Riverbed WAN acceleration Cisco ASA VPN/firewall, Cisco Security Manger Cisco Web Security Cisco AnyConnect VPN McAfee IPS, Network Security Manager F5 LTM, GTM, APM Cisco wireless LAN controllers/Access points Raritan console switches TACACS/RADIUS Cisco Identity Services Engine/802.1x/NAC.
