Job Responsibilities and Requirements: 1. Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to determine annual objectives, initiatives and financial budgets. 2. Ensure that all medical affairs initiatives, whether directly in the budget or housed in other departments, are running in a cost effective and outcomes directed manner. 3. Assume responsibility for P&L for the HSP organization. 4. Responsible for aligning the business and clinical objectives of the physicians with the overall organization. 5. Assist in performance improvement metrics, both at the enterprise and practitioner level. 6. Provide oversight to the revenue cycle management team to ensure accurate, effective methods are being implemented. 7. Identify strategies for growth and execute plans to achieve growth potentials. 8. Build and maintain positive professional relationships with the internal and external medical community. 9. Responsible for addressing issues raised by physicians, employees, clients and patients. 10. Support current medical leadership through facilitating communication and coordination of efforts. 11. Assist in developing and monitoring physician practice patterns in collaboration with Vice President of Physician Recruitment and Compensation. 12. Participate in the evaluation of new clinical services with CMO and MEC. 13. Develop vision for the practice and execute a plan to achieve the vision. 14. Guide RMDs and work with operations team to maximize the flow of clinical work at the centers to insure compliance, efficiency and patient satisfaction. 15. Maintain a working knowledge of key trends and opportunities relevant to the Healogics business portfolio. 16. Champion the partnership potential of physician and nursing through adoption of case management practices. 17. Promote the effective use of resources, both at a clinical and operational level for the HSP organization. 18. Assist the CMO and Executive team in developing a strategy for population health and risk based contracting and other future initiatives. 19. Collaborate with CIO to ensure effective data collection and reporting systems for continuous improvement within the physician practice business. 20. Represent the company at external venues and meetings when requested. 21. Assist in evaluating medical malpractice policy, risk, and management. 22. Work with coding and billing team to ensure seamless coordination from patient encounter through the revenue cycle process. 23. Help identify, develop and drive collaborations with external investigators, opinion leaders, regulators, government officials and payers through exchanges of information, creation of roundtable meetings and through scheduling of individual face to face meetings.
