Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Construction Services organization serves the Energy Supply organization (fossil & renewable fuels generation) at Energy works with data, management, and analytics to predict, understand and constructively influence the schedule and cost outcomes of a project. We are looking to hire a Construction Services intern for our Minneapolis region This internship will start in mid-May and last through August with the opportunity to extend into fall and spring semesters. This will be a mixture field activities and office work. Assume one third of the time will be based in the office learning about the project control aspects, and two thirds of the time on site actively contributing to coal, natural gas, and wind generation projects. These projects are around the Minneapolis metro area with additional rural Minnesota and North Dakota locations. The ideal student will be a junior or senior undergraduate pursuing a degree in Construction Management Responsibilities: Managing project schedules Managing cost analysis reports Reporting project or activity progress to project lead Assisting project superintendents and documenting site activities including safety inspections, quality assurance reviews, and work progress verifications. Requirements: Must be pursing an undergraduate degree from an accredited university Major in Construction Management Junior or Senior status Local students preferred Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis in Excel.
