Job Responsibilities and Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Process invention disclosure forms Manage patent disclosures in an online management system (Foundation IP) Communicate with inventors regarding invention disclosures and invention submission process steps Prepare for, and facilitate, conducting Invention Disclosure Review meetings Assist Engineers in navigating the IP development process Assist in other miscellaneous legal paralegal tasks SKILLS: Proficient with MS office software, and IP management software tools Service Oriented Careful attention to detail, willing to review, revise, and cross-check to ensure accuracy of information Well organized Strong communication skills Efficient use of time QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Foundation IP, MS office suite. Quickly able to adapt to change and learn new systems or processes Familiar with the intricacies of the IP asset procurement process. Proactive in offloading the IP attorney that they support such that the Attorney spends more time on higher value IP development tasks. This person should do their work efficiently with few or no errors. This person should identify creative ways to improve the IP capture and processing process. This person will be dependable, competent, trustworthy, self-motivated, and efficient. We need this person to pay attention to details so that mistakes are a) non-existent, b) minimal, or c) not repeated. 5+ years in house patent prosecution experience. Additional experience at a law firm experience is a plus.
