Job Responsibilities and Requirements: As the Contracts Manager, you will also work with customers to shape and close business opportunities in concert with internal objectives for the AGS Product Line that is exceeding 10% year over year growth. Work products and interactions will be at multiple levels, from your Contracts team, to the AGS leadership team and to your Director of Contracts across the entire billion dollar C4ISR Business Area. Daily responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues as well as an understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures.Ability to interact with the team to gather, interpret, analyze and present information.Compliance with Company policies and procedures, legal, regulatory and customer requirements.Prepare, negotiate and manage complex proposals/contracts across international and domestic environments.Provide guidance to Sales, Professional Services and Product Development teams on international, government and commercial contracting methods for commercial software products and services while protecting our commercial Intellectual Property.Cross functional collaboration with Sales, Professional Services, Product Development, Finance and Export teams.Will work on existing GSA Schedule, adding products, ensuring compliance/accuracy of quarterly Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) payments. Typical Education & Experience Bachelor s degree and 8 years of experience is preferred, but will also consider people with 12 years of experience in lieu of degree or people with a Master s degree and 6 years of experienceRequired Skills and Education GSA Schedules and schedule managementStrong knowledge of intellectual property law and policiesExperience with software licenses, end user license agreements including Open Source Software (OSS)FAR/DFAR knowledge and experience Experience with agreements to support sales and engineering development teams (ex. NDAs, bailment agreements, distributor agreements and/or reseller agreements)Preferred Skills and Education JD or BA in Business or related field Experience with commercial contracting, intellectual property and GSA Schedules.
