Job Responsibilities and Requirements: As Design Strategy Associate on the Retail Card Partnerships Design Team, you will Work on projects to bring new product concepts and experiences to life Work with multidisciplinary teams of designers, product managers, developers, business analysts, content strategists, marketers, etc. to create seamless end to end experiences Be the voice of the customer Prototype to learn across multiple mediums and levels of fidelity (physical, digital, sketches, etc) Use visual and tangible storytelling tools to share your discoveries, influence stakeholders, and crate energy around an idea or initiative. You re a good fit if you: Understand that good design balances user, business, and technical feasibility needs Can t help but identify where value lies for the customer and also for the business Are excited to work on a multidisciplinary team and facilitate alignment across different perspectives Use design to communicate complex concepts simply, striving to make things tangible whether they re conversations, frameworks, or ideas Stay on top of technology trends and are up for the challenge of bringing new technologies to a conservative industry Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or military experience At least 1 year of experience in design strategy, design research, UX design, communication design, or industrial design Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in design Experience working in a highly regulated industry Experience with a digital product & services company Experience navigating matrixed organizations Excellent written and verbal communicator At this time.
