Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The successful candidate will be taking part in a program for Credit Derivatives Clearing agenda for the platform covering: Work with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and program leads to define the solution, in-line with the strategic end-state and overarching business requirements Lead business prioritization forums to set roadmap of deliveries for the upcoming releases Manage and own end to end delivery of system change Chair weekly Project Working Group meetings Provide regular updates to senior management in technology, middle office & front office Gather business requirements, perform detailed analysis, and produce associated functional specs. Design of the technical solution required to meet business demands Definition of testing strategy, timelines, scripts Co-ordination & execution of system integration testing Co-ordination & support of UAT executed by business users Training of relevant teams prior to go-live of new functionality or applications Produce implementation approach, timelines, go-live strategy Post go-live support, investigation of issues Gain an in-depth understanding of the Credit Derivative product pay offs and features and apply to solid technology solution Plan and monitor progress of deliveries ensuring timely delivery and to agreed levels of quality Release and environment support management Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication SQL (key technical strength for analysing the business logic) Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills Experience of a project life-cycle, including breaking requirements down into technical deliverables and estimating the work required Strong background of understanding end to end lifecycle of financial products (Equity derivatives or credit derivatives) Background on large scale projects spanning 6 to 18 months involving multiple applications. Experience with regulatory projects (Dodd Frank, ESMA, MIFID) is a strong plus. Qualifications and Technical Skills Core Java Messaging technologies e.g. JMS, MQ, Qpid Experience with Unix/Linux, FpML, SQL Understanding of front to back business processes in Credit Derivatives products and clearing Strong knowledge and practical experience with SQL and MS Excel. Analysis and reconciliation of large data sets. Strong Analysis experience Personal Experience of the software development lifecycle in a structured environment Good numeric and analytical skills; good attention to detail Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills Strong communication (written and verbal) and team working skills Ability to manage dependencies, proactively anticipate and deal with issues Our Corporate & Investment Bank relies on innovators like you to build and maintain the technology that helps us safely service the world s important corporations, governments and institutions.
