Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position will lead the nutrition support to culinary, procurement, marketing, IT, training and development and quality and standards functions supporting the food service operations in Corrections. Lead the nutrition and dietary functions to include but not limited to menu planning, USDA nutritional / regulatory requirements. Lead the development, compliance approval, and direction of menu programs in Corrections. Oversight and responsibility to inform, advise and manage the NOSS and OpX programs in both businesses in regards to menu compliance to USDA and NOSS policies. Interacts with the Senior Leadership, Regional Leadership and field on all aspects of OpX programs. Develop and maintain field culinary engagement program and initiatives. Interface with RVP, Staff VPs, other division management, directors and their staff. Build effective partnerships with Regional and Corporate support functions Support and work with the marketing function and implementation of brands Support and work with IT function and deployment of programs Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in appropriate field with 10 years of comprehensive food service operations experience required. MBA Preferred Extensive leadership experience in menu development, dietetics, regulatory compliance, menu / food cost management, and training and development. Keen prioritization skills, task completion and follow through required with multiple projects simultaneously. Highly developed interpersonal analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills are essential to success in this role. Strong teaching skills, planning and organizational skills required. Ability to lead and direct a group of functional team members. Strong client relations skills as well as the ability to lead in a complex / matrixed organization are essential to success in the role. Highly effective change leadership skills are essential to success in the role. Ability to communicate to clients, public and students.
