Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Description: Incumbent performs a wide variety of due diligence activities at client/prospect facilities. The primary activities include collateral (generally accounts receivable and inventory) valuation and analysis, evaluation of accounting system controls and data integrity and managerial control reviews. Investigates or reviews deal-specific matters and reports findings to deal team. Conduct on-site reviews of client or target companies, communicates significant findings and potential areas of concern to applicable deal team members, prepares formal reports for senior management review and distribution. Reports to Field Exam Team Leader or Team Leader Senior. Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. Fifteen credit hours in Accounting preferred. Incumbent typically has less than 2 years related expertise. Ability to work well as part of a team and to work independently on a limited basis. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills necessary with working knowledge of MS Office and proficiency with Excel. Knowledge of data mining software (Monarch or Idea) is a plus. 50% out of town, overnight travel required.
