Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Partners with public and private sector clients to solve their most difficult challenges through a combination of consulting, analytics, mission operations, technology, systems delivery, cybersecurity, engineering and innovation expertise. Linux/Windows Server EngineerKey Role:Develop standardized server operating systems, including Windows, UNIX, Linux, Solaris, and OS X builds that are compliant with enterprise standards and security policy. Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure server OS build releases are completely tested and provide a consistent core foundation government and commercial applications can be hosted on. Ensure standardized builds are remotely deployable using provisioning software to a bare metal server or virtual machine and include the management agents necessary for efficient state, health, performance, inventory, and configuration data. Support technologies and products, including Microsoft, RedHat Linux, UNIX, Centos, Solaris, Mac OS, Citrix or XENAPP, F5 LTM, GTM, APM, AAM, x86 hardware or firmware, Oracle hardware or firmware, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), VMware, HPSA, HPNA, HPOO, VEEAM, Platespin, HP Insight Control and One View, Infoblox, Platespin Migration, McAfee antivirus protection, Symantec Netbackup, Windows System Center, Cloud Services, and RedHat Satellite Server. Basic Qualifications:-Experience in delivering recurring build releases that update the operating system and bundled components that ensure compliance with required patches and version upgrades-Experience with UNIX, Linux, Solaris, or OS X builds-Ability to ensure security services are enabled and default accounts and passwords are properly configured-Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam-HS diploma or GED and 8 years of experience with systems administration, AA or AS degree and 6 years of experience with systems administration, BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience with systems administration, MA or MS degree and 2 years of experience with systems administration, or PhD degree-DoD 8570 Compliance IAT Level II Certification prior to start.
