Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Roles and Responsibilities: Public Cloud Architect Recent, hands-on cloud migration experience (within the last 2 years). Experience in application cloud feasibility analysis and cloud partner selection. Experience in developing a vision and roadmap for public cloud adoption. Work closely with client development teams to integrate their projects into the production AWS & other cloud environments and ensure their ongoing support once there. Build engineering automation and productivity tools to migrate, streamline and scale applications in the Public Cloud environment. Build from the ground up reliable infrastructure services in the public cloud to deliver highly scalable services. Proficiency with key cloud technologies such as Apache, Redis, Solr, MySQL & Postgres, MongoDB, Puppet, Splunk, Github, Jenkins. Gain a deep application-level knowledge of the systems necessary to migrate to cloud and/or optimize once in the cloud. Be a DevOps champion - work closely with other internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the cloud environment to support the application development lifecycle. Dive deep into the software stack to troubleshoot as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment and operations Private Cloud (SDN-NFV) Architect 5 years experience in the planning, design, and implementation of complex networks as part of a large enterprise network team, or within the professional services or network integration organizations. Recent, hands-on software defined data center or NFV design and deployment (within the last 2 years). Experience in developing a vision and roadmap for software defined and/or NFV adoption. Planning, design and integration of Next Generation SDN Technologies in the data center environment with the following preferred (one or more required) Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI). Juniper Contrail and Open Contrail VMWare NSX Nuage Networks OpenStack Experience with orchestration and automation tools and technologies (OpenStack HEAT, Ansible, Python, Cloud Orchestration Platforms) Hands on experience in migration of data centers from legacy technologies to SDN enabled solutions Required Skills and Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience 5 or more years of consultation experience in necessary area of expertise Ability to grow Consulting and Influence revenues Ability to effectively work with the sales teams and other areas of AT&T business area as needed Ability to travel as needed Desired Education and Certification Bachelors of Science is not required, but a Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS is preferred.
