Project Engineering Associate Manager

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The associate manager will ensure the application of sound Project Management techniques and processes as they relate to major facility design military construction programs and projects. The associate manager will establish task priorities and resolve resource conflicts. The associate manager will have extensive interaction with management, technical teams, customer, and subcontractors. Must demonstrate Leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives. This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience. Leadership experience preferably on a technical team.. Project management skills and experience Facility design and construction management experience This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen Desired skills FBM experience that includes D5 Missile System and Weapon System knowledge. Experience with Facility Requirements Generation. Experience with 3D modeling tools such as AutoDesk's REVIT or CREO. Experience in understanding, integrating, and driving technical projects to closure to ensure successful completion from a cost, technical, and schedule perspective Experience in construction or civil design Earned value management experience including control account management, analyzing reports, reporting cost and schedule status, variance and corrective Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate across multi-functional teams both internally and externally with customer counterparts, subcontractors, associate contractors and government agencies in a collaborative environment. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules Willing to occasional travel.
