Job Responsibilities and Requirements: You will have responsibility for supporting the continued development and execution of both our offensive patent licensing and enforcement strategies as well as delivering licensing revenue via initiation, negotiation and consummation of IP licensing opportunities. First Year Goals Identify licensing opportunities consistent with program goals; Initiate, negotiate and consummate license agreements, delivering consistent results and licensing revenue Responsible for program level client engagements and patent licensing activities across all geographies Mine patent portfolios of third parties for additional revenue opportunities Counsel corporate functions on patent and related IP issues that arise in connection with M&A, commercial licensing and other transactions Formulate IP monetization strategy of certain patents in portfolio Create and advocate new IP valuation techniques based on specific situations Contribute to building infringement analysis and knowledge-base of future licensees, including what technologies are infringed and in which specific markets Help to ensure freedom to operate by minimizing exposure to third party IP Perform semi-complex analysis to identify potential underpayment of License Fees Oversee and coordinate the activities of external auditors who are performing royalty compliance reviews to ensuring accurate payment of royalties and compliance with contract terms Direct the daily activities of the team conducting comprehensive field audits on third parties Review licensing contracts to ensure compliance by parties with all terms Job Requirements Bachelor of Science; Engineering discipline preferred. 10 years of experience in IP Licensing , Business Development and or Corporate Strategy and 3 years managing a team Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with demonstrated success in closing deals Ability to work with intellectual property lawyers and other professionals in leading strategy and license agreement discussions Ability to execute on portfolio development and strategy Preferred Qualifications Experience negotiating intellectual property license agreements a plus Experience reading patents a plus Previous audit experience a plus Technical aspects of gaming business a plus Driving demonstrable revenue growth in a sales capacity a plus Special requirements needed Security Investigation Pass a background check Keys To Success Drive results to achieve high-quality work results regardless of work complexity.
