Project Controls Manager

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Project Controls Manager must be able to participate in a cross-functional team environment in development and oversight of construction related project controls tasks. Project Controls Manager In this role you will provide cost control and critical path method (CPM) scheduling support while managing Schedulers, Cost Controls, Change Controls and Document Controls. Responsibilities include implementing project planning processes, project set-up, execution, monitoring and closeout. Additional Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review, analyze project monthly cost reports and offer guidance and explanations for change. Interpret monthly cost analysis to forecast projects on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Ensure project controls procedures are implemented, and adhered to, and result in no audit exceptions when audited both internally/externally or by Clients. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls and the utility construction industry Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software, Microsoft Excel and database applications. High level of analytical thinking skills to plan and forecast work Proven history of working in a cross-functional environment providing accurate data to team members to ensure forecasted project delivery An understanding of CPM to ensure, and communicate, timely delivery of milestone tasks Equal Opportunity Employer.
