Senior IT Financial Analyst

Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Responsibilities: Consolidate and report on the DSW Inc. (Segment and non-segment) Technology financial planning process including: annual budget, targets, projection and modeling of the long-range plan Prepare budget, projection and long-range plan, and review monthly with IT and Finance leadership Update with actuals (by period), and report on variance to budget and projection to IT leadership for both capital and expense, across all segments Update projection on a weekly basis in Hyperion Planning system and report on changes vs prior projection Prepare monthly financial reports to review with IT and Finance leadership Assist with monthly accounting for Transformation & Technology capital and operating expenditures Coordinate with Accounting to complete monthly close activities for Technology including: Capital Labor, accruals, amortizations and write-offs Review transactions for accuracy and research discrepancies vs Projection Work directly with IT senior leaders and Project Management Office in regards to accuracy and timeliness of project expense and capital each month Supporting IT business projects Partner with project managers and IT Leadership to identify capital and expense portions of each project and incorporate into Business Cases Compile and coordinate applicable approvals for capital expenditure requests Coordinate between IT Leadership and Asset Management for capitalization and potential asset write-offs Create a process for tracking both capital and expense items by Project Other ad hoc analyses Qualifications: At least 4+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or accounting (IT experience is a plus but not required). Proven analytical and quantitative skills Experience with Hyperion Planning is a plus but not required Takes initiative and is curious, driven, flexible/adaptable. Detail oriented. Organizational and deadline-management skills Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills. Proficient in PowerPoint and Word. Undergraduate majors preferred: Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics. Analytical undergraduate degree required.
