Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Manage day to day business administration tasks for Salesforce.com. Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, validation rules, triggers, workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. Maintain user profiles, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and security. Provision new users in the system. Serve as the recognized salesforce.com expert within USG with a specialized depth of knowledge and expertise regarding the platform Provide cross-functional leadership with sales, IT and third-party consultants to solve issues Work with sales and business unit leadership to identify ongoing business enablement needs Assess salesforce.com releases from the business perspective and develop release/integration plan for USG Develop reports and create list views to improve users effectiveness Provide first level technical support for users; monitor chatter support feed and ensure that questions are answered Develop, monitor and support adoption and usage metrics. Develop strategies to maintain high levels of user adoption. Design and develop training modules for salesforce users for both existing functionality and new releases. Deliver training to new and existing users. Manage and document Standard Operating Procedures for each sales process in salesforce.com. Maintain on-line training library for user self-service support. Develop Content Library strategy. Work with end users to define business requirements. Manage the process of getting libraries loaded with appropriate content. Bachelor s degree required. Certified Salesforce.com Administrator (ADM-201) required. Additional Salesforce certifications (ADM-211, etc.) preferred. 5 years experience in sales, sales administration and/or sales support working with systems, products and processes. 2 years of Salesforce.com administration experience working with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities supporting a base of at least 300 users. Experience working on the Salesforce Lightning Platform a plus. Strong background in sales support systems - customer database, product database, pricing, quoting, etc. Strong technical capabilities and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management. Ability to work independently. Identify and resolve problems and work through the steps necessary to correct. Prior experience in the Manufacturing/Construction industry experience is a plus. Knowledge of USG customer base, and business practices is a plus. Strong organizational skills.
