Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Job Responsibilities: Experience with Linux System Administration of medium to large server networks. System Administration tasking will include building, configuring, installing and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers configuring and maintaining RHEL virtual servers; installing, configuring, and monitoring the MIDB software; and installing, configuring, administering, and maintaining the Sybase ASE database and the Wildfly application server COTS to operate at an optimal level. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the current MIDB replication threads Troubleshooting replication data flow and database server issues Assisting MIDB sites with replication installations; and assisting with maintaining MIDB data quality and releasability Experience working in a team environment, demonstrate the ability to work independently, and possess the ability to work and communicate with the customer and technical staff at remote sites Oversees and monitors performance across several disciplines, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues Guidance Provides expert guidance and direction to Government and Vendor senior level technicians and managers Directs multiple contractor and subcontractors teams through to project completion Training & Certifications: DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order. Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified within the task order Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree ina STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or related area) with 8 years of experience or An equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant experience may be considered. Active TS//SCI with CI Polygraph This position will be performed at Bolling AFB in Washington, DC Knowledge of Linux/Unix Systems Experience with installing and administering databases like Sybase ASE, Oracle, and Postgres Experience with installing application software in an operational environment CompTIA Security or equivalent certification High School diploma/GED with 12 years of experience, or Associates degree with 10 years of experience, or Bachelors degree with 8 years of experience, or Masters degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD with 4 years of experience. Desired Qualifications: Experience with MIDB and the MIDB system architecture Certified Sybase Replication Server Administrator Certified Sybase ASE Administrator CentOS System Administration Wildfly/JBoss Administration Experience with Sybase Replication Server Education Required: Bachelors Years of Experience Required: 8 Years of Experience Desired: 8 Expression of Interest Drug-Free Workplace/Drug Testing Employer.
