Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Description of Duties: - The Communications Lead will serve as the main point of contact for customer focused communications and have a strong understanding of all MRA services in order to respond to and develop relevant, effective, current, and useful written communications that are practical, easy-to- read/understand, succinct, and on-target with the intended audience. - Manages, develops, and disseminates all external communications content associated with MRA Programs to include, but not limited to newsletters, templates/forms, emails, system change requests notifications, websites, and IRM/Department Notifications. - Work collaboratively with other organizational teams in support of all MRA Communication requests; leads, facilitates, coordinate, and develops customer- facing and enterprise level communication requests (e.g., notifications, emails, webpage links, procedures, etc.) with government and contract leadership to ensure messaging associated with MRA Programs are appropriate for the intended audience and reaches the widest audience deemed necessary. - Manages all aspects of MRA Program communication campaigns, including, but not limited to the development of messaging, websites, posters, and literature describing new and/or changes to MRA Programs - Develops on occasion promotional material related to the MRA managed programs and initiatives. - Monitor and respond to customer- related inquiries/information requests from various communication sources to include Exchange mailboxes, social media boards, and SysList. - Frequently monitor and recommend updates to customer-facing websites to include Program Announcements, Service Catalog items, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document(s) and/or Knowledge Bases. - Frequently engages and collaborates with government and contract staff to stay abreast of planned and unplanned operational, engineering, and/or strategy related task/initiatives/projects that may require customer-facing communications. - Routinely review and update MRA Communications Plan (and other communications content) with MRA government and contract leadership to ensure consistent framing of messages and communication products; updates any outdated documents or other products to make them current and relevant. DISL VGP QUALIFICATIONS: Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in related discipline such as Business Communications, Marketing or Mass Media. Or additional experience in lieu of degree. Required Experience/Skills/Attributes: - 5 to 7 years of communications/public relations experience. - Ability to work collaboratively across organizational teams and independently with little supervision - Excellent verbal and written skills - Strong sense of ownership and accountability to manage and execute on multiple projects at the same time. - Ability to handle working in a fast-past environment and deliver quality products under tight deadlines with excellent accuracy. - Ability to lead and drive communication-related campaigns as MRA products and services are introduced and/or changed. - Ability to communicate appropriately and efficiently with senior leadership both government and contractor alike. - Develop and maintain relationships with government, contract, and customer staff. Desired Experience/Skills/Attributes: - Experience supporting other large scale IT systems deployment and support of multiple or other mobile solutions. - Understanding of technologies in various disciplines - Marketing experience or background - Familiarity with various types of multimedia Must have an active Secret security or higher to be considered.
