Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Essential Job Functions: 1. Responsible for managing and directing the loan closing process for the Dallas office, including but not limited to the following: Reviewing and understanding the lending parameters of each transaction; Managing the utilization of outside counsel activities to limit overall costs to Banks borrowers; Engaging appropriate legal counsel; Coordinating all Bank closing activities with various parties to ensure a timely and efficient closing; Reviewing, evaluating, address and approving various due diligence items (unresolved issues to be forwarded to VP-Credit/Closing); Drafting and reviewing all wiring and closing documentation; Managing communications with Little Rock and Ozarks office to insure streamlined closing; Gathering, assembling and reviewing all items needed to develop a complete lending transcript; and Managing and resolving all communication issues with Ozark and Little Rock involving post-closing items and transcripts. 2. Responsible for assisting with the resolution of loan administration issues, including following-up on exception items, post-closing items, and all loan billing. 3. Handle customer calls and research items for problem resolution. 4. Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work. Marginal Duties: 1. Assist, VP-Credit/Closing and Closing Department with other Bank-related opportunities. 2. Provide assistance to others in the Dallas office as needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 1. Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. 2. Superior analytic and logistical skills. 3. Substantial knowledge of real estate. 4. Excellent communication skills, including verbal and writing skills. 5. Demonstrated ability to discuss, in a professional manner, complicated issues and opportunities with substantial real estate owners and developers. 6. Ability to multi-task. 7. Ability to work under general supervision. 8. Ability to work well under pressure and with exacting deadlines. Equipment Used in Job Performance/Working Environment: 1. Computer 2. Managing multiple priorities Position Requirements Basic Qualifications: 1. Minimum three (3) years of experience as a paralegal, involved in closing commercial real estate transactions. 2. Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience. 3. Five (5) years experience with Computer including Microsoft Word and Excel. 4. Valid drivers license and good driving record.
