Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Sr. Architect must be a consensus builder across a highly-technical, cross-functional team. They must be able to demonstrate innovative approaches to complex problems which deliver industry-leading experiences for our clients. you'll do: Architect and implement roadmaps and bring to life revolutionary new analytics and insights. Provide technical direction to the data engineering teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to utilize the new big data tools Design and develop code, scripts and data pipelines that leverage structured and unstructured data. Evaluate new big data technologies. Provide architecture and technology leadership for AWS. Develop and recommending novel and innovative -- yet proven and demonstrated -- approaches to solving business and technical problem Responsible for development using Java, Scala, Python language and Big Data Frameworks, DynamoDB, Scala, Spark, S3, Data pipeline. Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating market requirements, business requirements and project briefs in order to design the most appropriate end-to-end technology solutions Integrating with external data sources and APIs Work with the developers, business analysts and subject matter experts to understand the complex technological system in order to produce integrated end-to-end solution options What you ll bring to the table: BS (Masters preferred) degree in relevant disciplines. 7 years of work experience. Experience in architecting and engineering innovative data analysis solutions Experience with architectural patterns for data-intensive solutions Expertise in real-time streaming and migrating batch-style data processing to streaming and micro-batch solutions Use of distributed messaging systems to rewrite systems in place Knowledge of the RDBMS core principles; set up, tune, design, as well as newer unstructured data tools Understand terminology involved in Data Science and familiarity with Machine Learning concepts Must be a hands on individual who is comfortable leading by example Experience with Methodology Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Experience with AWS Data Stack using S3, EMR, Data Pipeline, Big Data Frameworks, DynamoDB, Scala, Spark, Python.
